Lupyd for Gamers

A private Discord alternative for your squad

Voice channels, custom roles and group chats for clans, guilds and gaming communities, with every message end-to-end encrypted and no ads, tracking or sponsored content.

01/Voice

Voice channels and calls for your squad

Drop into a voice channel before a match or start a call straight from a DM. Voice and video are encrypted and built into the same channels your group already chats in.

  • Voice channels that sit next to your text channels
  • Encrypted voice and video calls with screen sharing
  • Calls directly from 1-on-1 and group conversations

02/Servers

Set up your clan, guild or community

Create text, voice and announcement channels for raids, scrims, LFG and patch notes. Keep private channels for your core team and public ones for everyone else.

  • Text, voice and announcement channels created on the fly
  • Per-channel privacy and access rules
  • Invite members directly and manage them in one place

03/Roles

Roles that fit how your group plays

Lupyd has no fixed admin or moderator ranks. Make roles like Shotcaller, Coach, Sub or Raid Lead, give each one exactly the permissions it needs, and assign them to anyone.

  • Create any role from scratch, with any name
  • Pick the exact permission flags each role gets
  • Reassign or revoke roles at any time

04/Privacy

Your chats stay between your team

Every message is end-to-end encrypted: the Signal Protocol for DMs and MLS for group chats. Strategies, call-outs and inside jokes can't be read by Lupyd's servers, and there are no ads or tracking.

  • End-to-end encrypted DMs and group chats by default
  • Clips, screenshots and files encrypted with AES before upload
  • No ads, no tracking, no algorithmic feed

05/Search

Find that build or strat in milliseconds

Search runs on your own device against a local index, so you can dig up an old loadout, a match time or a shared link instantly, without your search terms ever leaving your machine.

  • Searches DMs, groups and channels together
  • Runs locally, with no queries sent to a server

Common questions

Is Lupyd a good alternative to Discord?

If your group wants channels, voice and custom roles but also wants its messages end-to-end encrypted, yes. Lupyd encrypts DMs with the Signal Protocol and group chats with MLS, so only members can read them. Discord still has more integrations and a web app, so it depends on what your community relies on.

Does Lupyd have voice channels?

Yes. You can create voice channels alongside text and announcement channels, and start encrypted voice or video calls with screen sharing from any conversation.

Does Lupyd support bots?

Not yet. First-class plugins and extensions are on the Lupyd roadmap.

Is Lupyd free for gaming communities?

Yes. The free Community tier gives you an end-to-end encrypted workspace with the core collaboration tools. Pro adds extended storage, higher channel limits and priority features.

Which platforms can my team use?

macOS, Windows, Linux and Android today. iOS is in development, and there is no web version yet.
